During the Walker family Christmas party, Santa came with his helper who happened to be a photographer. She snapped pictures of all the families as they sat with Santa, and I guess I just forgot about them, because it wasn't until I read my sister's blog and saw her family Santa pictures that I thought, "hmm wonder where mine are"... A few minutes later she sent me our family's pictures, so I thought I'd post them here. They turned out pretty cute! Thanks sis!
Grandma Walker and Santa-- the cutest picture of her!
The last one would be a semi-decent family picture sans Santa, but that would take some photo-shop skills that I do not have. I obviously know we are a family of 4 now, but to see it in a picture is so surreal! I am bias, but we have the cutest little girls ever. We are so stinkin' lucky! xoxo The Twistles
Matt had to work a few days while his parents were here, so we had some fun while he was at work! Matt's parents were trying to take a reverse picture with their camera, and I was just in the background laughing and finally asked if they wanted me to take a picture for them! It was fun to watch :)
Attempt at reverse picture taking...
second try with me taking the picture... turned out a bit better, right?
Matt's parents stayed in a hotel after Christmas, and it had a pool so we were excited to take Emma for a swim. We soon found out that the pool was located outside in a shed type building and the water was not that heated! We had to dive in though, since we told Emma we would go swimming. The water wasn't too cold, but we didn't stay in there long! Emma's teeth were chattering by the time we were done, and we threw her in a hot shower afterwards. It was a fun memory for sure!
I was of course in the hot tub while Matt swam with the babe :)
She LOVEd it, it could have been freezing water and she still would have loved it
I love this face, so perfect and beautiful!
Emma is in love with a singing bear that Aunt Betty got her for Christmas, we have heard "O Come All Ye Faithful" too many times to count!
Charlotte was blessed by her Daddy on December 30th, 2012-- it was a great day.
While Matt's parents were in town, we took Emma sledding for the first time. She made it down the hill twice and then refused to put her gloves on so we went home. Maybe next year she'll get it!
The remainder of our Holiday was spent relaxing and watching Emma bond with Gramma and Granpa, here's some more random pictures:

This is love!
We hope everyone had a wonderful Holiday season! It goes too fast, especially when we have amazing visitors staying with us. I think I've finally gotten through all our pictures from Christmas, but turns out we keep taking more of the girls, so the blogging never ends!
We had a fabulous Christmas this year! The best present was having Matt's Mom and Dad home with us for the Holidays. We were so spoiled the entire time they were here, and miss them so much already (our dishes and bottles miss them too, they were clean the entire time as well!) Christmas Eve was really fun, we painted and set up Emma's table and chairs while watching Lord of The Rings. We like to watch the entire series every few years... now we should be good for another 2 years or so! Christmas morning we woke up and waited for miss Emma to arise (it was about 9:00 a.m., we all wanted to wake her up!) Our original plan was to get her breakfast first, so she would be full and happy before presents. However, our excitement got the best of us, and we let her go right to her stocking.... which had "nandy" in it. She absolutely refused to forget about the candy, and so we gave in and let her have a chocolate teddy bear before breakfast. She gets quite grumpy when she doesn't have food in her little tummy, so opening presents was a bit much for her. She liked helping Gramma and Granpa open up their presents though! There were a lot of presents for her to open, and I'm sure she was overwhelmed a bit. She LOVED the table and chairs and the chalkboard. All the other toys we got her didn't peak her interest until a few days later. Now, we have tea parties and color on her chalkboard every day. So fun! That night, we headed over to my Mom's house for Christmas dinner. It was yumma! Emma always has fun with her cousins and always learns new things each time. This time, she learned how to bite into an apple from watching Olivia. We got some cute pictures of the two of them sitting down eating their "appeys" (I just love Emma's words, it takes extra hearing to find out what they are, but so fun when she can communicate and I understand!) Oh, and Emma also learned how to photo bomb. She rocks at it, must get it from her Daddy.
