Matt's Parents Have Arrived!!

Matt's parents got here the Saturday before Christmas, and we were so excited!! They drove down, so they were quite tired when they arrived. We went to Mom's party and then met up with them after. Emma bonded with both of them right away, and took them on a tour of the entire house by saying, "mon" (c'mon) and gesturing them with her hand wave as she said it. She calls both of them "poppa" because I don't think she can quite say "gramma" yet.

After Matt's Mom and Dad got here, Emma noticed there were presents that appeared under the tree. She picked up the wrapped presents and gave them to us and said, "surprise" which I guess is her word for present. Gramma couldn't resist and Emma got to open up a few presents early :)

We went to Temple Square on Sunday night-- it was so busy! The lights were amazing as always, and it is always a striking sight to see the Salt Lake Temple all lit up. My favorite spot is the reflection pool, where they have lights floating in the water.

Here's some more pictures, there's much more to come! So many pictures, so much to blog about! My fingers will be typed out by the day's end.

Christmas party numero dos

The weekend before Christmas was quite busy for us, and the night after the Walker party we had my Mom's Holiday party. Emma had so much fun playing with Brandon and the rest of her cousins. Here's a video of Brandon making Emma laugh with a mouth full of cookie :)

It was a great time! I think Emma ate more sugar and sweets than she has in her entire life! She was hopped up on sugar for the entire Christmas Holiday, but she had fun and it was fun watching her open presents and see everything she got. It's crazy to think that Christmas is over and a new year has begun, it goes so fast!

Enjoy the pictures, and family--- send me any you have of us and I will do the same! :)

Emma and The Clause

We went to the annual Walker Family Christmas party the Friday before Christmas, and Emma had a great time. She was mesmerized by Santa, and plopped right down in front of him and just stared. She even ran around and danced when we sang, "Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer".

She loved getting presents and playing with her cousins, but she really loved the reindeer ears the most.

She has the biggest smile on her face!

Now THIS is how you wear reindeer ears!

Oh how we love this little girl!

We had a great time with family and came home exhausted and happy!

Lost Things

Before Matt's parents came into town, we did a much needed deep clean of our house.

Emma helped me clean under the couch, and we found many lost treasures... and some not so shiny pieces of trash.

We found lots of Emma's lost toys

We found couch change (which is a rare commodity these days since we hardly ever carry cash/change!)

We found a one dollar bill

We found our missing Wyclef Jean CD!! (or as Emma would call it "DD")

The look of disgust was all over Ryno's face. He was totally judging us the entire time (either that or he is just looking for his flying light again...)

Lesson learned: We need to clean under the couch more often.

Ha ha, like that is going to happen!

Happy cleaning!

Charlotte's faces

Charlotte is unbelievably adorable during every part of the day, and when she locks eyes with you, there's no turning away from her interested stare. Her eyes are so big and beautiful, I find myself just getting lost in them. Here are some of her faces :) We love our Charly!!
