As long as humans have been on the earth, we have documented our lives and experiences. Whether it be petroglyphs on cave walls, paintings, letters, or old fashioned hand written journals, it has been going on longer than we may know. Leaving a record for future generations is one of the great gifts we can give our children when we leave this earthly life. Having said that, I update this blog, aka online journal, as much as time allows (I'm still trying to figure that out with a 10 month old, working 30 hours a week, tending to house cleaning, and spending time with my awesome hubby). It seems to be much easier to type than to sit down and write in my journals, plus this way I can add fun pictures and videos. I blog to document our family adventures, in hopes that my children will be able to look at this and laugh at our stories. President Kimball said this, "The Savior emphasized the importance of keeping records. And one of the most valuable records is the one you keep of your own life." (view the entire article, here) I blog to share my stories with family and friends. I blog to share my thoughts and testimony of my faith. I blog for me, I love to write out my feelings and emotions- it's such a good way of dealing with the stress of life. This is a documentation of my life from 2010 and on, and is intended for honest use and hopefully, a good read for you! I hope you enjoy your stay!
