Why I work at the Huntsman Cancer Institute

I am so impressed by the patients at my work who are fighting cancer. I can't imagine getting such a scary diagnosis, and being able to continue to inspire and bring so much laughter into other people's lives. This patient in the link below has an amazing attitude and always makes us laugh when he comes in. He is truly inspiring!

Back to Work

This was my first week back to work, and I have to say, that it really stinks. I work half day in the afternoons on Mondays and Wednesdays, and then 10 hours on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Going back on Monday wasn't too hard, because I was able to be with Emma all morning. Tuesday was really hard, it was the longest I had ever been away from her and it was horrible! I have Fridays off, so that makes it really nice. I am not one of those Moms that can't wait to get back to work, I would much rather be home with Emma in my pajamas watching daytime TV =) Hopefully next week will be better, I'm sure I'll miss her just as much though. Cross your fingers that Matt gets a promotion soon at work, so I can quit!
